The exhibition will be opened by Per Boye Hansen (see picture), director of the Bergen International Festival.

15 June, 6 PM, the exhibition "Ole Bull and Edvard Grieg" opens in the museum building at Troldhaugen. As it should be, the exhibition opens on Edvard Grieg's birthday 15 June.

The exhibition will be opened by Per Boye Hansen, director of the Bergen International Festival.

Ole Bull had a particular significance for Edvard Grieg's artistic development. About his first meeting with the violinis and virtuoso Ole Bull, Grieg wrote:

"When his right hand touched mine, an electric shock went through me."

There will also be several performances with Bull´s music during this year's summer concerts at Troldhaugen.
